The colleges’ newly renovated child development center incorporates design elements which provide a fun and inviting space for the children of students and faculty while they attend school or work. The main feature of the design being the reception area, where custom acoustic panels, designed to reflect a woodland environment, encourages a playful and welcoming atmosphere, while having functional, sound absorbing properties. A few additional elements in the design are magnetic dry-erase boards, a climbing wall, finish materials that are durable and easily cleaned, modern and child-sized furniture, new LED lighting and a renovated kitchen.
