Located in the heart of downtown, the Loveman’s Building was constructed ind 1880 and was the first department store in Chattanooga. The building has since been converted into a modern mixed-use space while maintaining the historic architectural elements. Exposed brick and columns, as well as the original windows were preserved during the renovation. These elements serve as a compelling juxtaposition to the modern interior design implemented in the condominium. Contemporary finishes, lighting, window treatments and furniture have been incorporated into the design to help create a backdrop to the client’s extensive and one-of-a-kind art collection.
